<\/p>\nJacob Elordi didn\u2019t mind the 11 hours it took to transform into his full \u201cFrankenstein\u201d role \u2014 even though it all happened before he was ever able to shoot a scene in character. <\/p>\n
During an appearance on \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u201d Friday, Elordi said the lengthy experience in the makeup chair gave him ample time to truly immerse himself into the role. <\/p>\n
\u201cWell, it\u2019s kind of, it was actually like the perfect amount of time. You don\u2019t get that much time when you\u2019re filming to be able to get into something,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

He then added, \u201cYeah, so it was like the perfect amount of time to be able to sort of leave all of this stuff behind and sort of become something else, I guess. Hopefully.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor was also asked about his walk in the film, something he developed for the character. <\/p>\n
\u201cFirst of all, I thought about what it would be like to, you know, when you\u2019re trying to wake your foot up when you\u2019ve been sitting on it for too long,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s not listening to your brain. Things like that, like how would somebody else\u2019s foot move on your body?\u201d<\/p>\n
He also worked with a Butoh teacher, who helped him understand the Japanese dance that often incorporates darker themes and used that to develop his character\u2019s movement.<\/p>\n
