Part of the city\u2019s famed Art Triangle, the museum is home to works by Mir\u00f3, Dal\u00ed and its crown jewel, Picasso\u2019s Guernica. But now, there\u2019s a brand-new reason to visit.<\/p>\n<p>The Reina Sof\u00eda has just unveiled an atmospheric new\u00a0cinema, transforming a former auditorium (originally built in 1987) into a lavish 129-seat film paradise. This month\u2019s programme includes two cycles: a film series dedicated to Ira Sachs as part of the LGBT+ film festival QueerCineMad, and a retrospective of works by MetaHaven.<\/p>\n<p>Reina Sof\u00eda\u00a0joins Madrid\u2019s impressive list of stunning cinemas,\u00a0several of which have been recognised for being architectural marvels. This year, Time Out\u2019s experts named the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/film\/the-50-most-beautiful-cinemas-in-the-world\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">top 50 most beautiful cinemas<\/a>\u00a0in the world, and three in Madrid made the cut.
