When the idea of passing the\u00a0Turing test \u2014 machines conversing indistinguishably from humans \u2014 became reality, daily life barely flinched. Yet, according to\u00a0Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, the shift marks the start of something much deeper: a world where artificial intelligence\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0just\u00a0talk\u00a0like humans but\u00a0thinks\u00a0and\u00a0discovers\u00a0like them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company is calling for\u00a0shared safety standards among frontier labs, akin to building codes or fire safety norms.\u00a0<\/p>\n Altman proposed several principles for navigating AI\u2019s future responsibly:\u00a0<\/p>\n Building a resilient AI future\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Altman argued that as AI approaches superintelligence, collaboration between nations and frontier developers will be critical.
