A new image gives us our first look at Sidephone\u2019s upcoming QWERTY keyboard tile. The modular “dumb phone” adds a compact predictive typing interface resembling Blackberry\u2019s SureType system. No official launch details are available as of writing.<\/p>\n

Sidephone<\/a>, the modular “dumb phone” that\u2019s slowly capturing attention for its minimalist design and focus-driven interface, is now teasing what could be one of its most ambitious accessories yet – a full QWERTY keyboard tile. The latest image<\/a> circulating on Reddit gives us a clearer look at the attachment, specifically on how the company is expanding beyond its original T9 keyboard and the recent dial-style “Sundial” keypad<\/a>. <\/p>\n

From the promotional image, the QWERTY tile seems to carry a compact yet familiar layout with tightly packed keys, somewhat reminiscent of older Blackberry SureType<\/a> designs.
