It was nice of Taylor Swift to give the world a month off. After a few months of breathless promotion for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, she retreated to her favorite activity \u2014 getting dinner in New York<\/a> \u2014 ahead of the release of her Eras Tour docuseries this December. We got a little teaser<\/a> of The End of an Era on October 13 and now that it\u2019s November 13, a full-blown trailer of the show out on December, well, not 13, but 12. \u201cHonestly can\u2019t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday,\u201d Swift wrote on her socials<\/a>. Really? What about dinner at Via Carota?<\/p>\n Perhaps the most revealing aspect of the teaser for The End of an Era was Swift\u2019s postshow, raspy-voiced breakdown of what she does after each concert. As a beautiful marble tub fills with water, she describes her nightly routine: \u201cI watch tons of TV, I eat room service in bed, I sign a box of 2,000 CDs, and then? Then, I\u2019m tired.\u201d The new trailer divides the docuseries into three notable sections. The first is all the people \u2014 crew, dancers, musicians, featured artists, and so on \u2014 who made the Eras Tour possible. The second is Swift herself, working on her \u201cTaylor\u2019s Versions\u201d while the tour was happening, complete with iPhone selfie videos of her in a little recording booth. The third \u2014 and who could have seen this coming \u2014 is her now-fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce, her then-shiniest and newest accessory. \u201cTravis Kelce,\u201d Swift\u2019s mom, Andrea, says. \u201cHe brings a lot of happiness.\u201d Cue footage of Swift smiling and laughing in various custom Kansas City Chiefs shirts. \u201cWe basically have the same job,\u201d Swift points out to him on the phone, to which Kelce agrees, \u201cYou\u2019ve got teammates, I\u2019ve got teammates.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019ve got Coach Reid,\u201d Swift adds as they both crack up. \u201cI\u2019ve got \u2026 my mom.\u201d Her song \u201cKarma\u201d from Midnights plays through most of the new trailer as if to suggest this victory lap is a result of good karma.
