An urgent product recall <\/a>has been announced for several batches of a popular brownie treat amid concerns over potential “mould growth and spoilage”.<\/p>\n The Food Safety Authority of Ireland<\/a> (FSAI) is strongly advising consumers to avoid consuming<\/a> the affected product.<\/p>\n The recall pertains specifically to certain batches of Booja-Booja Chocolate Wonders Fudgie Brownie Organic. This product can be found in various shops across Ireland, including Holland and Barrett where it retails for \u20ac3.49.<\/p>\n In a statement released today, the FSAI stated: “The below batches of Booja-Booja Chocolate Wonders Fudgie Brownie Organic are being recalled due to possible mould growth and spoilage. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.<\/p>\n “Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.
