Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images\/File Photo Purchase Licensing Rights, opens new tab<\/a>Nov 14 (Reuters) – Google’s (GOOGL.O), opens new tab<\/a> YouTube and Walt Disney (DIS.N), opens new tab<\/a> said on Friday they had reached an agreement to restore Disney-owned networks, including ESPN and ABC, to YouTube TV, ending a standoff that had cut off millions of subscribers from key programming and major live sports events.<\/p>\n

Both companies said they have begun restoring channels for YouTube TV subscribers.<\/p>\n

The dispute, centered around carriage fees, or the per\u2011subscriber rates distributors pay to carry broadcast and cable networks, had caused Disney’s channels to go dark<\/a> on October 30 on one of the largest pay-TV services in the U.S.<\/p>\n

Financial terms of the new deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n
