de Meuron and PBDW Architects completed the renovation of Marcel Breuer&#8217;s brutalist 945 Madison Avenue<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In architecture news, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/10\/breuer-building-sothebys-headquarters-herzog-de-meuron-pbdw-architects\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Swiss studio Herzog &amp; de Meuron completed its renovation of Marcel Breuer&#8217;s brutalist 945 Madison Avenue into Sotheby&#8217;s Manhattan headquarters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Completed in collaboration with local studio PBDW Architects, the renovation included the removal of former office space to restore gallery floor plans to Breuer&#8217;s original designs.<\/p>\n<p>This week also saw the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/12\/herzog-de-meurons-art-basel-glass-trophies\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Swiss studio unveil its bubbly glass trophies for the Art Basel Awards<\/a>, for which it aimed\u00a0to capture the shape of breath in glass.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2268066 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/brutalist-sweater-kate-forbes-ilana-blumberg_dezeen_2364_social_8-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"Brutalist Sweater by Kate Forbes and Ilana Blumberg\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1329\"  \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/11\/brutalist-sweater-kate-forbes-ilana-blumberg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kate Forbes and Ilana Blumberg renewed Adrien Brody&#8217;s grey sweater from The Brutalist\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In other news, costume designer Kate Forbes collaborated with knitwear designer Ilana Blumberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/11\/brutalist-sweater-kate-forbes-ilana-blumberg\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">to recreate the grey sweater worn by Adrien Brody in The Brutalist film for fans to purchase<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The grey-toned sweater was adapted to appeal to a contemporary audience and features a deeper rib cuff and longer sleeve length than the original vintage piece.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/09\/intaaya-retreat-pablo-luna-studio\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2266585 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/intaaya-retreat-pablo-luna-studio-indonesia-bamboo_dezeen_2364_hero-852x479.jpg\" alt=\"Intaaya Retreat by Pablo Luna Studio\" width=\"2364\" height=\"1330\"  \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/09\/intaaya-retreat-pablo-luna-studio\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A wellness retreat in Indonesia was among this week&#8217;s most popular projects<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Popular projects on Dezeen this week included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/09\/intaaya-retreat-pablo-luna-studio\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a wellness retreat in Indonesia<\/a> modelled on sea creatures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/2025\/11\/08\/snohetta-113-spring-concept-lab-soho-nyc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an &#8220;ephemeral&#8221;
