Heather Dubrow<\/strong><\/a> is all in on Vicki Gunvalson<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s return to The Real Housewives of Orange County<\/a> \u2014 but how does she think it will change the show\u2019s dynamic?<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I hope is \u2014 and what I\u2019m manifesting for us is \u2014 that we are moving forward,\u201d Heather, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly at BravoCon 2025<\/a> on Saturday, November 15, after the network confirmed Vicki, 63, as a full-time Housewife<\/a> for season 20 of the OG franchise.<\/p>\n

Heather, who was part of the cast for seasons 7 through 11 before making her comeback in 2021 during season 16, revealed she \u201cloves\u201d that RHOC has had \u201call these people come back,\u201d including Tamra Judge<\/strong><\/a> beginning in season 17 and Gretchen Rossi<\/strong> for season 19.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very nostalgic, and I think there could be some of that in season 20 too,\u201d she teased. \u201cBut, really, this is about a group of friends, and the conflict and resolution comes between us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heather mused, \u201cSo where are we now? And where are we going forward? Where are we going in the future? We\u2019re not going backwards any more.\u201d<\/p>\n

During \u201cThe Bravos\u201d at the BravoCon panel on Friday, November 14, Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> surprised Vicki and fans alike when he joined her on stage to ask an important question.<\/p>\n

\u201cVicki, would you join us as a Housewife for Season 20?\u201d the producer asked before handing her a coveted RHOC orange<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vicki happily accepted, later telling Us she had no clue Cohen, 57, was going to extend the invitation to return to the show so publicly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he asked me about season 20, I was really somber going out there because I thought, \u2018This is my last time on stage. This is my last time with BravoCon. They\u2019re putting me out to pasture,\u2019\u201d Vicki confessed<\/a> on Saturday. \u201c\u2018I\u2019m going to kick and scream the whole way out, but I\u2019m going to do it.\u2019 And then, when he asked me, it took a while for me to understand that this is my next life now for at least a year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vicki was an original RHOC cast member and continued on the show for 14 seasons before announcing her departure<\/a> in January 2020.<\/p>\n

While the way her return was announced caught fans by surprise, Heather told Us on Saturday, \u201cAm I shocked that she\u2019s coming back for season 20? No. I think it\u2019s so exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heather noted it is \u201cso great\u201d to be reunited with Vicki. Heather revealed that, amid the news, she and Tamra, 58, did a photo shoot with Vicki, who would \u201cnot put the orange down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe wouldn\u2019t even let them take it for a photo. She\u2019s like, \u2018Are you gonna give it back? Who\u2019s got it?\u2019\u201d Heather teased. \u201cIt\u2019s great. It\u2019s really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the Us reporter joked that Vicki once said she had a \u201clong list of demands\u201d before she\u2019d come back<\/a> to RHOC, Heather laughed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere [is her] long list of demands: \u2018Am I breathing? Do I have a pulse? Did you ask? Yes, I\u2019m in,\u2019\u201d Heather teased.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAccording to Emily Simpson, Vicki Gunvalson\u2019s The Real Housewives of Orange County return brought an underlying animosity. While speaking with Us Weekly at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, November 14, Emily, 49, revealed that she recently ran into Vicki, 63, on the red carpet. \u201cShe was, like, \u2018Well, I still don\u2019t trust her. I don\u2019t trust [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

Vicki\u2019s return as the \u201cOG of the OC\u201d comes after she and Tamra \u2014 both part of the Tres Amigas<\/a> with Shannon Beador<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 mended fences following their recent feud.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had a lot of ups and downs in our 20 years. I always say we\u2019re like sisters,\u201d Tamra exclusively told Us<\/a> on November 5. \u201cIt\u2019s that love-hate relationship all the time. I\u2019m talking sisterly love, like, you have little arguments. And then, of course, being on a show together, there\u2019s always ups and downs \u2014 especially the type of show that we were on together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite putting their differences aside, Tamra told Us at BravoCon<\/a> that she was \u201ctotally surprised\u201d that Vicki was rejoining the cast.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I did not know it was gonna go down,\u201d Tamra told Us on Saturday in Las Vegas. \u201cI\u2019ve been, you know, spending a little time with Vicki lately and talking with her. And I\u2019m like, \u2018Have you got any news?\u2019 You know, normally we don\u2019t get news about next season till about December or January. So she\u2019s like, \u2018No, I haven\u2019t heard anything.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
