Lala Kent<\/strong><\/a> had mixed feelings about returning to reality TV<\/a> after joining the full-time cast of The Valley<\/a> for season 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a lot of hesitation,\u201d Kent, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly on Saturday, November 15, at BravoCon 2025<\/a> in Las Vegas of her decision to live her life, once again, in front of the cameras. \u201cI was extremely hesitant after coming off of season 11 [of Vanderpump Rules].\u201d<\/p>\n

In the season 11 finale of Vanderpump Rules, Kent shocked viewers when she broke the fourth wall and criticized costar Ariana Madix<\/strong> for not filming with Tom Sandoval<\/strong>. News later broke that Vanderpump Rules would be moving forward with an entirely new cast for season 12. (Us confirmed in 2023 that Madix, now 40, and Sandoval, now 43, had split after his affair with costar Rachel Leviss<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care about hate,\u201d Kent continued on Saturday. \u201cBut that was a different level and it taught me a lot. So when the offer came to be it was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I want to do this.\u2019 But then at the end of the day I love doing this. So it was kind of a no brainer. Once I sunk into it, I had a blast.\u201d<\/p>\n

One day before Kent\u2019s comments to Us, it was announced that she and former Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Schwartz<\/strong> would be joining the cast<\/a> of The Valley season 3. When asked whether she brought the drama this season, Kent replied to Us, \u201cIt was a different version.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m coming into a cast where I am friends with most people, but I didn\u2019t watch season 1 or 2,\u201d Kent explained of The Valley. \u201cI wanted to go in with a fresh perspective and make my own judgments. And then what I saw and what I would hear if I didn\u2019t like it, then, yes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kent explained that \u201ceveryone\u201d was nervous about facing her wrath this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, besides Michelle [Saniei]<\/strong>, because we\u2019re friends and Janet [Caperna]<\/strong>,\u201d Kent noted. \u201cBut I mean, Brittany [Cartwright]<\/strong> knows me. She\u2019s filmed with me before. Same with Kristen Doute<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kent, who has had her ups and downs with Doute, 42, through the years, explained that she\u2019s \u201cso happy\u201d the twosome are getting along.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited for you guys to see friendships that become revived,\u201d Kent shared. \u201cIt\u2019s fun. Gosh, I don\u2019t want to spill too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

One person Kent doesn\u2019t seem to be back on track with? Former Vanderpump Rules costar Scheana Sha<\/strong>y, who will not be filming The Valley season 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have nothing to say about her,\u201d Kent told Us, when asked if she saw her friendship with Shay, 40, taking the turn that it did.<\/p>\n

When news broke on Friday, November 14, that Shay would not appear on the show, Kent told panel host Danny Pellegrino<\/strong> that she didn\u2019t want to talk about what happened between the pair. (Scheana previously claimed their friendship fallout<\/a> happened sometime after she revealed that her husband, Brock Davies<\/strong>, had an affair in 2021.)<\/p>\n
