Australia’s first ever Golden Bachelor Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden gave his heart to Sydney-based CEO Sunny on Sunday night in an epic grand finale.<\/a><\/p>\n

He also gave the lucky lady a massive diamond ring, which he slipped on her finger in front of a stunning mountain backdrop in Cape Town, South Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, Aussie jeweller Kosta Theochari from MDT Design<\/a> has lifted the lid on the massive sparkler – and how much it may have cost.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The promise ring is said to be between 1.2 and 1.5ct in a very fine\u00a0talon-claw six-claw solitaire setting with an incredibly thin band that makes the ‘diamond look bigger’.<\/p>\n

But the band, says Kosta, is not forever.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0‘A thin ring with a setting on top although may look great, but will not last as long as something with a more substantial band,’ says Kosta.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for the price tag on the stunning ring, it could range depending on its source.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘If this is a lab-grown diamond and paired with this fine ring the pricing would be in the vicinity of $3,200 to $3,800,’ he revealed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘If it’s a natural diamond, pricing could be in the range of $16,000 and upwards.’<\/p>\n

The Golden Bachelor chose his final lady in a finale episode of the dating series on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Bear made his ultimate choice between Janette, 61, a Pilates instructor from Victoria and Sunny, 58, a CEO from NSW, during a romantic trip to South Africa – and it was Sunny who walked away victorious.<\/p>\n

The couple have revealed that they are still together – and kept their love alive in the months since filming on the reality show ended with a series of secret hookups.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0engineer, 61, and his ladylove have met up in a series of spicy Airbnb<\/a> dates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘There were a few secret meetings at Airbnbs. We had to show up at different times and sort of rush in,’ Sunny told Woman’s Day <\/a>on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘You know, it was a bit, he’s Mr Bond and I’m his Bond girl.’<\/p>\n

In a shock confession, Bear even hinted that marriage may be in their future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘We’ve got a lot of things to discuss,’ he told the publication of a possible engagement between them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sunny confirmed that the pair ‘have huge feelings for each other’ but are taking things slowly – for now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Both of us want to see our love grow organically, so we’re going to take it one step at a time,’ she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
