{"id":186357,"date":"2025-11-18T02:39:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T02:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/186357\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T02:39:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T02:39:07","slug":"made-in-china-2025-cements-manufacturing-dominance-despite-missed-goals-us-review-finds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/186357\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Made in China 2025\u2019 cements manufacturing dominance despite missed goals, US review finds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beijing has not achieved all of its <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/topics\/made-china-2025?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u201cMade in China 2025\u201d<\/a> (MIC2025) goals \u2013 particularly in aviation and integrated circuits \u2013 but has still made \u201csignificant gains\u201d and cemented its status as a global manufacturing powerhouse, according to a new US government report.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The assessment, released by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, evaluated China&#8217;s progress on the 10-year strategy, which was launched in 2015 to achieve self-reliance, innovation and technological prowess across strategic industries.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The congressional commission found that China missed its targets in sectors dominated by a small number of powerful global incumbents, where entry barriers \u2013 such as tight controls over specialised intellectual property \u2013 were high.
