Samsung’s Galaxy S Ultra phones tend to lead sales in the Android market every year.

Things are no different in 2025 even as the starting price for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now $1,299 for the 256GB storage model. However, Samsung’s feeling a bit generous these days with incentives on its 2025 flagship.

It’s massively undercutting rival devices

Customers in the United States can now buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra from Samsung.com starting at $849. This is a straight up $450 discount on the device, no trade-in necessary. For a limited time, Samsung is also offering a free storage upgrade so actually end up with the 512GB storage variant at the $849 price tag. This brings the total savings to $570.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is undercutting several of its competitors at this price point. The cheapest iPhone 17 Pro is still $1,099 and the Pixel 10 Pro XL is at $1,199. The OnePlus 15 might seem comparable at $999 but that device’s sales have been temporarily postponed in the country.

Granted, this may not seem to be a very compelling option if you’re waiting for the Galaxy S26 Ultra that’s due to be out early next year. Keep in mind, though, that straight up discounts like this won’t be available immediately on the new flagship.

Starting at just $849

                            Buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra

Buy now

Unless you’ve got a fairly recent device to trade-in, there’s going to be a hefty out of pocket cost for the new flagship. The $849 price tag for the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the US provides the perfect middle ground for customers who aren’t rushing to buy new phones as soon as they’re released, and are always on the look out for great deals.

There are plenty of devices in the $1,000+ segment available to customers in the United States, but only…

[257
18,34789,19,17,279,82,384
0":"post-186785","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-eire","9":"tag-galaxy-s25-ultra","10":"tag-ie","11":"tag-ireland","12":"tag-mobile","13":"tag-technology","14":"tag-united-states
["GET
