Keanu Reeves<\/a> showed some love to the law enforcement officials who tracked down a number of his watches, including one of five Rolexes made after shooting \u201cJohn Wick: Chapter 4<\/a>\u201d that were stolen in 2023.<\/p>\n

The actor\u2019s Los Angeles home was broken into during a string of burglaries by foreign nationals. The thieves made off with many pricy items, including a Rolex Submariner watch with a personalized inscription that was part of Reeve\u2019s wrap gift to the stunt team<\/a> on the 2023 film.<\/p>\n

The prized accessory was tied to the hit action movie franchise, which began with Reeve\u2019s character seeking revenge for the theft of his car and the murder of his puppy. It was among six of his watches \u2015 valued at approximately $125,000 \u2015 that were stolen, per the Los Angeles Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a handwritten letter addressed to the FBI<\/a> and Chile<\/a>\u2019s Policia de Investigaciones (PDI), Reeves offered his \u201cprofound gratitude and appreciation\u201d to the two agencies, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, California Highway Patrol and law enforcement in Chile.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much for all your effort, dedication, professionalism and across-border cooperation. My warmest regards, Keanu,\u201d he wrote in a letter shared by the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n

Chilean officials discovered Reeves\u2019 stolen possessions during a broader investigation into burglaries in the capital city of Santiago. The U.S. Embassy said the find was \u201ccircumstantial\u201d in nature, CNN reported in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officials told the network that a detective who liked the \u201cJohn Wick\u201d franchise \u201cmanaged to recognize\u201d the Rolex watch and was aware of Reeves\u2019 gifts to the stuntmen before authorities ultimately made a match.<\/p>\n
