{"id":189540,"date":"2025-11-19T20:07:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T20:07:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/189540\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T20:07:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T20:07:08","slug":"no-media-welcome-insists-cork-gaa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/189540\/","title":{"rendered":"No media welcome, insists Cork GAA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATTEMPTS by delegates to overturn a Cork GAA decision to exclude media from county board meetings have been shot down for a second time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Delegates from the Carbery division, Tommy Lyons and Aidan O&#8217;Rourke, raised the matter at Tuesday&#8217;s Board meeting at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, seeking a reversal of the 2024 decision by the management committee to ban journalists from monthly meetings.
