The final eight of the Harty Cup has now been confirmed following another dramatic day of action.<\/p>\n

In total, there were eight matches that took place on Wednesday and the Irish Examiner had a reporter at each clash.<\/p>\n

(1) Late Our Lady’s Templemore surge ends North Mon’s journey<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Templemore found an extra gear late on.<\/p>\n

(2) Sublime Ben Cummins fires Lismore into knockouts after 13-point rout of Hospital<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Cummins scored 1-14 for Blackwater Community School.<\/p>\n

(3) Doherty goal sends St Flannan’s through as Ardscoil go out<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Despite leading from the fifth minute to the finish, last year\u2019s finalists found it difficult to shake off their perennial rivals.<\/p>\n

(4) Midleton secure group top spot with victory over De La Salle<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Fionn Daly scored 1-6 for Midleton.<\/p>\n

(5) St Colman’s Fermoy secure big win over Clonmel but fall short of knockouts<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

The North Cork side had to record a win in this final group outing and hope Midleton CBS lost with scoring difference then coming into the equation, but it didn\u2019t come to that.<\/p>\n

(6) Nenagh hit the goal trail to pip Flannan’s for top spot<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

Nenagh CBS went to town on fellow Tipp school Cashel with score difference crucial.<\/p>\n

(7) St Joseph\u2019s Secondary School Tulla secure quarters spot with win over eliminated Christians<\/a>\n <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a treacherous match for us,” admitted Tulla manager Terence Fahy.<\/p>\n

(8) Thurles CBS maintain perfect record with victory over Doon<\/a>\n <\/p>\n
