Niall Brennan had been reported missing from his home in Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, since October 13, and Garda\u00ed issued multiple appeals for information during the search.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">The 30-year-old&#8217;s family became concerned for his well-being after he failed to return home, and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.corkbeo.ie\/all-about\/gardai\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Garda\u00ed<\/a> issued a missing persons appeal on October 23. This was followed by a renewed appeal for information on October 30 after investigators managed to confirm a sighting of the young man at a retail premises in Mullinahone.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1_tipmmisjpegjpgMissi.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Niall Brennan(Image: An GS)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">The five-week search ended in tragedy this evening, with Garda\u00ed confirming that a body had been found and identified as that of the missing man. Garda\u00ed thanked the public for their assistance throughout the missing person&#8217;s investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">A Garda spokesperson said: &#8220;Following the discovery of a man\u2019s body, the missing person appeal for Niall Brennan (30) who was reported missing from Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary since Monday 13th October 2025, has been stood down. An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">Meanwhile, Garda\u00ed in Cork continue to appeal for information on the whereabouts of David O\u2019Brien, who was reported missing from his home in the city earlier this week. Garda\u00ed are asking for the public\u2019s assistance in locating Mr O\u2019Brien after he failed to return to his home in Blackpool on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/582760586_122177736920387604_3680193109937026187_n.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>David O\u2019Brien <\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">David was last seen in Blackpool on Friday, November 14, at 9 pm. The 48-year-old stands at 5&#8217;10&#8221; in height with grey hair and blue eyes. Garda\u00ed say they are concerned for David&#8217;s well-being, and anyone with information on his whereabouts has been asked to contact the investigating Garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">A Garda spokesperson said: &#8220;Garda\u00ed are asking for the public\u2019s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of David O\u2019Brien (48), who is reported missing from Blackpool, Cork city, since Saturday, 15th November 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"corklive\">&#8220;David is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height, with grey hair and blue eyes. David was last seen in Blackpool, Cork city on Friday, 14th November 2025 at 9:00 pm.
