The background is blurred with snow-covered trees and branches.\" width=\"800\" height=\"420\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-827025\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>A photographer in Yellowstone National Park captured the moment a \u201cvery foolish\u201d man decided to taunt a pack of wolves.<\/p>\n<p>The horrifying incident took place at the U.S. national park on the morning of October 6. Photographer Keith Allen Kerbs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPfVXr4Ap4S\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener nofollow\">shared the footage<\/a> to his Instagram page. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m in Yellowstone most of this week to photograph the scenery and wildlife,\u201d Kerbs writes. \u201cSo far, I\u2019ve seen quite a bit which I\u2019ll share soon but had to share this video I took this morning from a safe distance of a very foolish man and a pack of wolves.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The video starts as the man is backing up with at least five wolves bearing down on him. Incredibly, the man squares up to the wolves and sprays what is presumably bear spray at them. People can be heard screaming at him to fall back. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis could end very badly for that guy,\u201d a fellow photographer says. \u201cYeah, you think?\u201d Kerbs replies. The man disappears into a ravine while the gathered photographers express their disbelief, calling him a \u201cknucklehead.\u201d Kerbs notes on Instagram that the man \u201calmost didn\u2019t make it out alive.\u201d <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New video shows a man approaching a pack of wolves in Yellowstone National Park. Keith Allen Kerbs recorded the footage on October 6, saying he was photographing the five black wolves when the man approached them.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows the man spraying what he describes as bear spray\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gofjFRLsOL\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/gofjFRLsOL<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 AccuWeather (@accuweather) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/accuweather\/status\/1990808593319506130?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener nofollow\">November 18, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Kerbs filmed the unfortunate episode on a 500mm lens and a 1.4x converter, giving him an effective 700mm focal length.
