The bassist of an iconic \u201880s glam metal band<\/a> recently defended his longtime bandmate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UltimateClassicRock.com reports<\/a> how Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. \u2014 better known as the co-founder and bassist for M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce, Nikki Sixx \u2014 stood up for singer Vince Neil on X the other day.<\/p>\n

A fan \u2014 in response to the announcement that M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce would be going on tour <\/a>starting July 17, 2026 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania \u2014 stated, \u201cVince needs to get in shape and fix his voice first.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you hear him in Vegas?\u201d replied Sixx. \u201cHe sounded solid and bad [expletive].\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke in April <\/a>that M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce was force to cancel their performance at the Boardwalk Rock festival in Ocean City, Maryland \u2014 and postpone their residency in Las Vegas \u2014 due to Neil\u2019s health issues. It later came out that the 64-year-old had suffered multiple strokes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was Christmas night, and I went to sleep,\u201d Neil said during an interview on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cTrunk Nation with Eddie Trunk\u201d at the time, as transcribed by Blabbermouth.net<\/a>. \u201cI woke up and I couldn\u2019t get out of bed. I\u2019m, like, \u2018What\u2019s going on?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd my left leg wouldn\u2019t work, and my left arm wouldn\u2019t work. So I had to get help out of bed. I couldn\u2019t push myself up to get myself comfortable in bed. And I had to have help. And slowly but surely, the sensation came back in my legs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neil went on to explain that \u2014 after he got checked out following the incident \u2014 further testing showed he had had \u201cfour strokes throughout the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo of \u2018em I didn\u2019t even know I had,\u201d he said. \u201cOne of \u2018em was a mini stroke that happened and I just lost feeling in my hand.\u201d<\/p>\n

UltimateClassicRock.com states that \u2014 according to the man himself \u2014 Neil was \u201c95 percent good\u201d during the Vegas residency.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s things that I can\u2019t do on stage still,\u201d he admitted in another interview with Eddie Trunk. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to run back and forth on that stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat stage is so huge. But I\u2019m getting used to it.\u201d<\/p>\n
