Adjusting for this, net profit would have fallen 12–13%, broadly mirroring the revenue decline.

Groww also tightened its expenses this year, which helped it improve its bottomline.

Revenue mix: The platform saw wider usage in mutual funds, stocks, profit and loss statements, loans against securities, and margin trading facilities. CEO Lalit Keshre said that wealth management is expected to be a significant future business for the platform, with only 3% of the company’s current revenue coming from the segment. Revenue from derivatives fell sharply after regulatory actions restricted participation.

Also Read: We make so much money, we could keep it all, but that’s not how you build a 100-year-old company: Groww CEO Lalit Keshre

Groww commenced its public market journey on 12 November, opening at a 14% premium over the IPO price of Rs 114. In his view, the next wave of innovation could challenge incumbents like GitHub and Microsoft.

India push: One of the hottest Silicon Valley companies today, Cursor counts India among its top-three global markets and is planning an aggressive expansion here. This system relays mission-critical information between air traffic controllers, airlines, and multiple authorities. The failure led to delays of up to 35–40 minutes for several hours. Investigators are still examining the cause, including the possibility of a targeted cyberattack.

What’s new: Even as the probe continues, the AAI is moving quickly to plug vulnerabilities. A new cybersecurity division, likely headed by an executive director-level officer, will be created to work closely with the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team. Outside experts will also be brought in to strengthen defence protocols, people familiar with the plan said.

Out with the old: Delhi airport is switching from the ageing Aeronautical Message Switching System to the newer pan-India Aeronautical Message Handling System, which addresses latency issues and is expected to improve resilience.

Groww posted mixed numbers in its first results since listing.
