He says, \u201cExercise isn&#8217;t just about sculpting the perfect body; it&#8217;s a celebration of your heart&#8217;s strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> &#8216;Don&#8217;t forget to sip water throughout the day&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>7. Regular workouts are also important. Dr Chhajer says, \u201cAim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise each week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>8. Dr Chhajer explains that to reduce stress, &#8216;incorporate relaxation techniques like <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/yoga-expert-on-8-wonderful-benefits-of-morning-meditation-101651293271554-amp.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"yoga or meditation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">yoga or meditation<\/a>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>9. He adds, \u201cStay hydrated: don&#8217;t forget to sip water throughout the day to support your heart&#8217;s work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>10. Sleep matters and &#8216;it is more than just rest; it&#8217;s a crucial part of heart health&#8217;, the doctor shares. \u201cAim for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. Maintain a consistent sleep schedule to regulate your body&#8217;s internal clock,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>11. Say no to smoking, and yes to heart health. Dr Chhajer says, \u201c<a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/tips-to-quit-smoking-10-easy-ways-to-conquer-tobacco-cravings-101657700579256.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Quit smoking\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Quit smoking<\/a>. Kicking the smoking habit is one of the best gifts you can give your heart. Seek support to quit smoking and lower your risk of heart disease. Regular health check-ups also play a role, as the cardiologist says, \u201cPrevention is better than cure, and routine health check-ups are your safety net.\u201d He adds, \u201cSchedule regular health check-ups to monitor your heart health. Keep an eye on blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>13. Limit alcohol. \u201cEnjoying a drink in moderation is fine, but excessive alcohol can harm your heart.
