Photo: Tony Gavin<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Sister vibes have been in the ether this past year; we had Anton Chekhov\u2019s Three Sisters at the Gaiety Theatre, we\u2019ve had Marian Keyes\u2019s The Walsh Sisters on RT\u00c9 and, of course, there was Sharon Horgan\u2019s infamous Bad Sisters. Now for the supportive sisters: EU policymaker Alexandra de Schonen and her younger sibling, artist and decorative painter Ashlinn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Two years ago, Alexandra and her husband Jules Morel bought a beautiful old house right in the heart of Brussels. It needed decorating and Ashlinn had just done a course in Brussels in all the classic decorative painting techniques \u2013 marbling, faux wood effects, friezes.
