Although the full-back managed to quieten him at times, the defining moment came when he allowed the Belgian to ghost in behind for Arsenal\u2019s opener. <strong>4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/cristian-romero\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cristian Romero<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> A poor defensive display all round, and the Tottenham captain was powerless to prevent the collapse. Arsenal scored goals of all varieties, and the Argentine could only watch on. <strong>3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/kevin-danso\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kevin Danso <\/a>\u2013 <\/strong>The centre-back earned a start as Thomas Frank opted for a back five. His passing was often loose, though he did make several important recoveries and blocks.<strong> 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/destiny-udogie\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Destiny Udogie<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> The Italian played Trossard onside for Arsenal\u2019s opener, the one major moment he got wrong. Aside from that, he stuck closely to Bukayo Saka and limited the winger\u2019s influence. <strong>5.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/rodrigo-bentancur\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rodrigo Bentancur<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>A poor display from the Uruguayan in both halves. Tottenham could not cope with Eze and Mikel Merino in midfield, and Bentancur offered little going forward. <strong>4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/joao-palhinha\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joao Palhinha<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>The Portuguese midfielder was Tottenham\u2019s best performer in the second half, showing fight, winning duels, and attempting to carry the ball forward. <strong>7.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/mohammed-kudus\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mohammed Kudus<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>A north London derby debut to forget. Kudus spent much of the match chasing shadows as Spurs failed to produce anything in the final third. <strong>4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/richarlison\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Richarlison<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>Grabbed what proved to be a consolation with a strike from the halfway line. It should have sparked a comeback, but instead Arsenal went on to make it 4\u20131. <strong>6.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spurs-web.com\/tag\/wilson-odobert\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wilson Odobert<\/a> \u2013<\/strong> The Frenchman had nothing to work with, as Tottenham once again failed to show any attacking thrust against a top Premier League side. <strong>4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Substitutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Xavi Simons<\/strong> \u2013 Replaced Danso at half-time and slotted into the number ten role as Frank searched for a response. <strong>5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pape Sarr<\/strong> \u2013 The Senegal international came on for Bentancur but had little impact as Arsenal continued to dominate. <strong>5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Randal Kolo Muani<\/strong> \u2013 The Frenchman received minutes from the bench, playing with protective gear to shield his jaw. <strong>5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pedro Porro<\/strong> \u2013 Replaced Spence on the right and was tasked with handling Noni Madueke late on. <strong>N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brennan Johnson \u2013 <\/strong>The Wales international was Frank\u2019s final row of the dice, but it was a little too late for Tottenham who were well beaten. <strong>N\/A.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>       Have something to tell us about this article?
