Motorola is a little late to the party for ultra-slim smartphones. But with its new Edge 70, it is making a distinct statement as it aims to take on the iPhone Air and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.<\/p>\n
That statement begins with the design of this 5.9mm-thick smartphone. Motorola has collaborated with Pantone to create three eye-catching colour combinations.<\/p>\n
The 6.67-inch OLED display is beautifully bright and has a very narrow bezel around the screen. At 159 grams (5.6oz) and with its aluminium frame and grippy back, the Edge is pleasantly light in the hand and offers the same great feel as its Apple competitor.<\/p>\n
The slim frame houses a 4,800mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is larger than those in rival thin phones. In tests, it easily lasted a day, sometimes two.<\/p>\n
Internally, the hardware is sufficiently fast, the 12GB of RAM is ample, and 512GB of storage is enough for plenty of photos.<\/p>\n
Four coloured rings adorn the back of the device. These contain two 50-megapixel cameras \u2013 a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle camera \u2013 the flash and a light sensor.
