{"id":19702,"date":"2025-08-24T06:01:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-24T06:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/19702\/"},"modified":"2025-08-24T06:01:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T06:01:11","slug":"truck-driver-dies-and-five-taken-to-hospital-after-collision-in-co-dublin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/19702\/","title":{"rendered":"Truck driver dies and five taken to hospital after collision in Co Dublin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A truck driver has died and five people have been taken to the hospital following a collision in Co Dublin.<\/p>\n<p>Garda\u00ed and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on the N7 Westbound at Rathcoole on Friday, at approximately 6.40pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The collision involved a truck and two cars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"> The driver of the truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body was removed to the mortuary at Whitehall where an autopsy is due to take place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Five other individuals were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;The road was closed for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
