Just weeks after\u00a0going official with influencer Allie Eklund<\/a>,\u00a0The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0cast member offered more insight into Allie\u2019s dynamic with his loved one.\u00a0Steven\u00a0told The Daily Dish that his new girlfriend got along quite well with his tight-knit family, but she was especially close with his mother,\u00a0Kristi McBee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings have been great. It has been such a good experience dating someone that brings so much peace to my life and is integrated with my family so well,\u201d he said during\u00a0\u00a0BravoCon 2025<\/a>. \u201cSo it’s been really, really fun. My mom probably loves her more than I do already. My mom is like, \u2018I’ve got a new best friend.\u2019 They text more than Allie and I do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steven\u00a0confirmed his relationship with Allie via Instagram on November 3, nearly a year after he and\u00a0Calah Jackson<\/a>\u00a0called it quits. It\u2019s no secret that\u00a0Steven\u00a0and Calah\u2019s on-again, off-again romance caused a lot of tension and heated exchanges within his family \u2014 so much so that Kristi described the relationship as \u201ctoxic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would do anything to get her out of his life,” Kristi said in a Season 2, Episode 5 confessional. “I don’t do well with someone playing victim all the time, and that’s what she does. The last thing I want to see is my son in an unhealthy, toxic relationship.”<\/p>\n

Is Steven McBee Jr. ready for marriage and kids?<\/p>\n

Although he\u2019s only been dating Allie for less than a month,\u00a0Steven\u00a0said he\u2019s already thinking long-term. He explained to\u00a0The Daily Dish\u00a0that his outlook on marriage and kids has changed in recent months, as his brothers,\u00a0Jesse McBee<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Cole McBee<\/a>,\u00a0had already started families.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I am fresh into a new relationship, and things look really, really good for Allie and I,\u201d he said. \u201cI think seeing my brothers have their babies, it has definitely caused me to have a new perspective on life and realize, hey, you know, there are some things, namely family and kids, that are so important that I don’t wanna miss out on anymore. So I think it could be in the very near future.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, how did\u00a0Steven\u00a0end up meeting his new lady? The Missouri rancher confirmed he had slid into her Instagram DMs but didn\u2019t get a response until their mutual friend William Van Orsdel gave him an\u00a0\u201cA+ referral and assist.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt took me a couple of months and several DMs to reach out and set up a date,\u201d he told The Daily Dish. \u201cIt was so much fun. It was the best night ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
