The West Belfast trio, consisting of Mo Chara, M\u00f3gla\u00ed Bap, and DJ Pr\u00f3va\u00ed, will perform at the Crystal Palace Park in London on Saturday, June 27, next year.<\/p>\n

They will be joined by special guests, including Irish ballad group The Mary Wallopers, English band Fat Dog, Irish rapper Biig Piig, Irish postpunk band Gurriers, and Dublin folk band Madra Salach.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the gig will go on general sale at 9am on Friday, November 28, on Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, fans can also sign up for the artist pre-sale taking place at 9am on Wednesday, November 26, through Kneecap’s website.<\/p>\n

Kneecap will perform at London’s Crystal Palace Park next summer<\/p>\n

Kneecap said they are \u201cback to the belly of the beast\u201d for their biggest ever headline show.<\/p>\n

“Our last wee venture into London was to beat the government in court\u2026 again. This time it’ll be even better: 25,000 sound heads in a park together,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

“We’re delighted to have some of our best mates and best bands around to join us. This is one we can’t wait for.\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes as the case against Kneecap member Mo Chara was thrown out by the chief magistrate at Woolwich Crown Court in London in September after a technical error in the way the charge against him was brought.<\/p>\n

He was accused of displaying a flag in support of the proscribed terror organisation Hezbollah at a gig in north London in November last year.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace Park is London\u2019s original outdoor concert venue, which has previously seen performers such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and Pink Floyd.<\/p>\n

Irish rock bands Two Door Cinema Club and Snow Patrol are also set to perform at the venue during the summer next year.<\/p>\n

Kneecap is just wrapping up their sold-out UK tour, while recently releasing a new single, No Comment, featuring Sub Focus.<\/p>\n

They will soon come to Dublin\u2019s 3Arena on December 16 and 17 for two sold-out shows.<\/p>\n

Last year, the band starred in the BAFTA-winning feature film, Kneecap, which was also shortlisted for an Academy Award.<\/p>\n

The trio released their debut album 3CAG in 2018, followed by their successful second album Fine Art last year, and amassed 1.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify to date.<\/p>\n
