{"id":199181,"date":"2025-11-25T10:46:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/199181\/"},"modified":"2025-11-25T10:46:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:46:12","slug":"huaweis-latest-kirin-9030-processor-powers-premium-mate-80-smartphones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/199181\/","title":{"rendered":"Huawei\u2019s latest Kirin 9030 processor powers premium Mate 80 smartphones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/topics\/shenzhen?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Shenzhen<\/a>-based Huawei listed the Kirin 9030 as the processor for the 12-gigabyte random access memory (RAM) version of the Mate 80 Pro, while its Kirin 9030 Pro version is built into the 16GB RAM Mate 80 Pro, the Mate 80 Pro Max and Mate 80 RS models, according to the official website for the company\u2019s latest flagship handsets.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The series\u2019 basic Mate 80 model, however, runs on the older Kirin 9020 processor.<\/p>\n<p>At the live-streamed launch on Tuesday, the chairman of Huawei\u2019s consumer business group, <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/topics\/richard-yu-chengdong?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Richard Yu Chengdong<\/a>, claimed a 42 per cent performance improvement by the Mate 80 Pro and Pro Max models powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro processor compared with last year\u2019s Mate 70 Pro+ model.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Yu also touted that the 12GB version of the Mate 80 Pro, with the Kirin 9030 chip, achieved a 35 per cent better performance than the Mate 70 Pro.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The company did not provide further details about the Kirin 9030.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Richard Yu Chengdong, the chairman of Huawei Technologies\u2019 consumer business group, shows two models of the high-end Mate 80 RS models at Tuesday\u2019s live-streamed product launch.
