Donations can be made at gofundme for the family of Turkish pilot Bircan Dokuzlar who died in Thursday’s air crash in Co Waterford <\/p>\n
A fundraising campaign has been set up to support the family of the Turkish pilot who died in an air crash in Waterford on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Condolences have been paid to Bircan Dokuzlar, whose aircraft was on the way from Sligo to Bezier in France when it turned back and hit the ground while attempting to land south of Waterford Airport.<\/p>\n
Mr Dokuzlar, the father of two boys, tragically lost his life in a plane crash in Waterford, on November 20. He had been working in Germany to support his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cKnown for his diligence, honesty, and dedication, Bircan was an honourable man who tirelessly worked for his family despite all hardships,\u201d said Kaan Demiroz, who has set up the fundraising campaign.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis sudden and devastating loss has left his family not only in deep grief but also facing the heavy burden of funeral, burial, international transportation, and the many needs the family now faces without him.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis period is extremely challenging for the family, both financially and emotionally. All support collected will help lighten the Dokuzlar family\u2019s burden during this difficult time and allow them to take a small breath of relief.<\/p>\n
