Conor McGregor<\/a> has been snapped with the former US Navy Seal who killed Osama bin Laden<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mr McGregor, 37, posed with Rob O\u2019Neill<\/a>, 49, in photos taken at the MMA’s stars Black Forge Inn Pub<\/a> in Walkinstown, south Dublin.<\/p>\n

He said he interviewed O\u2019Neill, 49, as part of a series of interviews with major figures called ‘1 of 1’.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neill, 49, rose to prominence after he was one of a Seal special forces team that raided the lair of bin Laden – America\u2019s public enemy number one for masterminding the 9\/11 attacks<\/a> that killed thousands of people in September 2001 \u2013 in a daring attack in Abbottabad, Pakistan in May 2011.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neill was the Seal operator who cornered bin Laden in an upstairs bedroom of a villa \u2013 and shot him dead.<\/p>\n

Osama Bin Laden appears on Al-Jazeera Television praising the attacks of September 11th, and defying the United States in its threats to attack Afghanistan’s Taliban government, which was playing host to him. He is now a celebrity and pundit and appears to be the first person interviewed by McGregor in his new series.<\/p>\n

Mr McGregor tweeted about the meeting on Monday morning \u2013 and also launched a verbal attack on the Irish government<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said: “Introducing the first of my series with people who are ‘1 of 1!’<\/p>\n

“Here I am with the man who eliminated terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Seal Team Six\u2019s Rob O\u2019 Neal. Only at The Black Forge Inn!”<\/p>\n

Mr O\u2019Neill tweeted in support of Mr McGregor\u2019s post and added: “Great Energy in Ireland.”<\/p>\n

Mr McGregor also tweeted his support for US President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s plan to designate the Muslim Brotherhood Islamic group as a foreign terrorist organisation.<\/p>\n

He said: “We welcome together greatly the divine timing on the announcement today that the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Organisation is now being officially designated so by the US administration!<\/p>\n

“They will join the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Russia, Syria, and Jordan in doing so. Bravo again, President Donald J Trump!<\/p>\n

“Bring her home!”<\/p>\n

He also made comments about a live criminal court case<\/a> in Ireland.<\/p>\n

And he made a bizarre reference to Britain\u2019s Henry VII, a 16th century king, also known as Henry Tudor.<\/p>\n

He said: “Ireland, we will rise and it is of my opinion that we rise toward Kingship once again! Henry Tudor is dead!<\/p>\n

“And today we are governed by weak, treacherous weasels who hold no account. Power without accountability is tyranny.<\/p>\n

“The Irish King must return.”<\/p>\n
