Cork Airport has announced a major expansion of its European hub connectivity offerings for summer 2026.<\/p>\n
The facility has said that long-haul travel and global connectivity options for passengers across the South of Ireland will see a significant boost next year as several airlines have committed to an increased flight schedule.<\/p>\n
As part of the newly-announced schedule, German carrier Lufthansa will increase its Cork to Frankfurt service to five flights per week, which will further increase to six flights per week during peak periods.<\/p>\n
Swiss International Air Lines, through its subsidiary airline Edelweiss, will return to Cork Airport with its twice-weekly service to Zurich from March 31, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will offer three daily services to Amsterdam Schiphol. Air France, currently operating a year-round Cork to Paris Charles de Gaulle service, will also resume daily services from March 1, with Aer Lingus maintaining its four-times daily service to London Heathrow.<\/p>\n
