Alison Hammond<\/a> could be heading for the altar with boyfriend David Putman, according to reports that the TV star is ‘on top of the world’ and ‘can’t imagine her life without him’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The This Morning presenter, 50, and the Russian masseur and model, 28, went public with their romance in April last year, going from strength to strength ever since.<\/p>\n

And its been reported that the couple could soon be taking the next step and tying knot, as Alison is happier than ever with David by her side.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A source told The Mirror<\/a>: ‘Alison is literally on top of the world at the moment \u2013 she just could not be happier. She\u2019s been grinning from ear to ear recently and David is a huge reason for that.’<\/p>\n

Following a turbulent time at ITV<\/a>, with huge budget cuts leaving many of the broadcaster’s biggest stars fearful of losing their jobs, David reportedly has been Alison’s ‘rock’ – cementing their relationship even more.<\/p>\n

The source said:\u00a0‘David has been her rock through everything at work. Alison wouldn\u2019t have got through everything as easily if it hadn\u2019t been for him. She can be vulnerable with him and he\u2019s a brilliant listener \u2013 that\u2019s something she really values.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

They added that Alison now has a ‘better balance’ with work and her private life, after putting so much focus on her career in past, and has made her love life ‘more of a priority’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While David has been instrumental in getting her to put herself first for once, by ‘really showing up for her’, with the source adding that the masseur has ‘is happy making his life revolve around her’.<\/p>\n

And it appears that wedding bells could be on the horizon, with those close to them reportedly anticipating a proposal in the future.<\/p>\n

The insider said: ‘Of course, she\u2019s now thinking about the next steps, which lots of people around them think will be an engagement. She knows what she\u2019s got in David and can\u2019t imagine her life without him now.’<\/p>\n

They met when Alison booked a massage with David in 2023 and went public with their romance in April 2024, with her taking to Instagram to share a series of snaps together.<\/p>\n

The couple then made their red carpet debut two months later at a Candy Kittens bash, joined by Alison’s son Aidan, 20.<\/p>\n

Alison tends to keep her relationship private, with David sparingly featuring on her social media profiles.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, she hasn’t been able to resist gushing over their relationship, previously explaining how David is very supportive of her and her TV career.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I don’t like to go into detail about him, because it’s my private life, and I want to respect his life as well. But you know I’m loved-up, everyone knows that!’<\/p>\n

When asked about whether she would like to get married, the star didn’t rule it out, saying:\u00a0‘I’d never say no. I might marry myself…’\u00a0<\/p>\n

She also opened up in Good Housekeeping<\/a> UK’s January issue, admitting her and David ‘fit like a jigsaw’ as she revealed their traits balance each other out.<\/p>\n

Addressing their 22-year age gap, Alison said: ‘I can see how, on paper, you\u2019d notice the age difference.\u00a0But honestly, when we see the word “toyboy” written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Yes, I\u2019m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you\u2019d understand. People have said to me: “We get it now.” He\u2019s so mature and sensible, and I\u2019m so not.<\/p>\n

During the interview, Alison also spoke about her loving relationship with her son Aidan – who she recently gave an emotional apology to for ‘not always being there’.<\/p>\n

‘He gives really good advice and because he\u2019s Gen Z, he has his finger on the pulse and tells me what\u2019s cool.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He\u2019s the yin to my yang; he\u2019s like me, but a calmer version. I\u2019m all, “Woo-hoo” and he\u2019s more, “Mum, chill.” He doesn\u2019t try to rein me in, though.’<\/p>\n
