During a recent interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nh5T4FK3C5Q&amp;t=1s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"font-semibold hover:text-accent-color border-b-2 border-accent-color\">Ambrosia For Heads,<\/a> Posdnuos explained why this is, revealing that it all started with the release of the group&#8217;s \u201cEgo Trippin\u2019\u201d video. Apparently, 2Pac was under the impression that they were mocking his &#8220;I Get Around&#8221; visuals, but this was not the case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-lora text-dark-grey !leading-[1.9125rem] break-words text-[17px] lg:text-lg\">\u201c2Pac we had an issue with because when we did the \u2018Ego Trippin\u2019\u2019 video, he unfortunately thought we were mimicking and trying to make fun of the \u2018I Get Around\u2019 video,\u201d he explained. \u201cHe was very disappointed\u2026 He reached out to his manager and the people at Tommy Boy at the time and was like, \u2018Yo, man, I love those dudes. I didn\u2019t know they had an issue.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-lora text-dark-grey !leading-[1.9125rem] break-words text-[17px] lg:text-lg\">While Posdnuos says he tried to reach out to 2Pac to clear the air, the late icon was occupied dealing with a legal issue in Atlanta at the time.<\/p>\n<p>De La Soul Cabin In The Sky<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-lora text-dark-grey !leading-[1.9125rem] break-words text-[17px] lg:text-lg\">They never ended up connecting, and in July of 1996, De La Soul released\u00a0Stakes Is High. Some artists took the criticisms in the album personally, including 2Pac.
