Her head was wrapped in large clothes, making her unrecognizable from her previous roles in last year&#8217;s Nosferatu and the 2023 HBO series The Idol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Werwulf marks Depp&#8217;s second consecutive collaboration with writer-director Robert Eggers, known for making period-accurate horror and thriller movies like The Witch, The Northman and The Lighthouse.\u00a0The new movie&#8217;s cast also includes <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/aaron-taylor-johnson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Aaron Taylor-Johnson;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Aaron Taylor-Johnson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tag\/willem-dafoe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Willem Dafoe;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Willem Dafoe<\/a>, who were photographed sporting large beards on set.
