Ben Affleck<\/a> and Jennifer Lopez<\/a> have had quite a run. On, off, on, off. It\u2019s gone on for so long that it\u2019s no wonder so many people are actively rooting for them. And it seems like on the list of people rooting for them are his kids.<\/p>\n

RadarOnline.com<\/a> is reporting that Lopez has stayed in touch with Affleck\u2019s kids, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13, not just checking in on them, but arranging for them to hang out with her own children, Max and Emme, 17. \u201cThat\u2019s gone a long way with Ben\u2019s kids, and what they\u2019d like more than anything, as would\u00a0J.Lo\u2019s kids, is to see\u00a0Bennifer\u00a03.0,\u201d a source said.<\/p>\n

Lopez has spoken recently about how she\u2019s \u201cactually good\u201d being single and has moved away from \u201clooking for happiness in other people.\u201d But after she and ex-husband Affleck reunited on the red carpet of Kiss of the Spider Woman, sources around them were singing a different tune. \u201cJ.Lo had a wonderful time with Ben and says he\u2019s as sexy and wonderful as ever,\u201d an insider told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn her mind, they\u2019re destined to be together again, plain and simple. She\u2019s believed that all along, and now she\u2019s even more convinced that it\u2019s a case of when, not if, it\u2019s going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

This all comes after reports that Affleck and his other ex-wife and the mother of his children, Jennifer Garner, had entered into a \u201cfriends with benefits\u201d arrangement. The two divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cJen and Ben have always shared a really powerful bond,\u201d a source reportedly told the outlet. \u201cIt\u2019s built on years of love, trust, and family. Lately, that closeness has deepened \u2013 they\u2019ve been turning to each other for comfort, and it\u2019s naturally become something more intimate.\u201d<\/p>\n

The report also indicated reconciliation was not the plan. \u201cIt\u2019s not about them getting back together,\u201d the source said. \u201cIt\u2019s about finding comfort in someone who knows you completely. They\u2019ve weathered addiction, divorce, and years of co-parenting \u2013 that kind of shared history creates a connection most people could never understand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reports about Garner and Affleck\u2019s friendship and co-parenting have always abounded, but this never made any sense, considering Garner is engaged to businessman John Miller.\u00a0If anything, a possible reconciliation with Affleck\u2019s other ex, Jennifer, seems like it\u2019s way more possible. And, apparently, what his children are hoping happens.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Lopez have dated two separate times. They originally got together in 2002 after meeting on the set of the movie\u00a0Gigli, and got engaged for the first time in November 2022. They broke that engagement in January 2004. After that, Lopez went on to marry\u00a0Marc Anthony<\/a>,\u00a0and Affleck to marry\u00a0Jennifer Garner<\/a>, and they both had children with their new spouses.<\/p>\n

In 2021, Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance and shortly after, in April of 2022, got engaged for a second time. This time, they did tie the knot in July 2022. In August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on the\u00a0second anniversary of their wedding<\/a>\u00a0ceremony.<\/p>\n

Could a third time be the charm? We will have to wait and see.<\/p>\n
