The draws for the 2026 Provincial Championships will take place on Thursday evening at Croke Park, with the proceedings getting underway at 7pm.<\/p>\n

Donegal are aiming for a unprecedented third Ulster title in a row. They defeated Armagh in this year\u2019s final with the Orchard county looking for a first provincial title since 2008, despite reaching the last three finals. <\/p>\n

As has been the case since 2021, Ulster counties who have played in the province\u2019s preliminary round tie in one year will be exempt from it for the next two years.<\/p>\n

Therefore, two of Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone will therefore meet in the province\u2019s opener. <\/p>\n

The draws for all four Provincial Football Championships will take place on Thursday night. <\/p>\n

Munster GAA postponed the introduction of a proposed new league-based seeding system, and the 2026 championship will revert to the previous system where the previous year\u2019s finalists receive a bye to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
