It appears Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Hugh Jackman<\/strong> were allegedly present when Ryan Reynolds confronted Justin Baldoni about \u201cfat-shaming\u201d Blake Lively. Lively filed a lawsuit accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on the sets of their movie, It Ends With Us<\/a>. In retaliation, Baldoni has denied the claims and filed a $400 million countersuit. A trial in Lively\u2019s suit is all set to commence in March 2026.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift witnessed Reynolds-Baldoni confrontation<\/p>\n

It appears Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman were witnesses to Ryan Reynolds <\/a>confronting Justin Baldoni over Blake Lively\u2019s fat-shaming concerns. In a new development, Wayfarer Studios\u2019 Jamey Heath\u2019s team emailed the timeline of events to Baldoni\u2019s legal team in July 2024. Notably, this timeline now appears in a newly unsealed exhibit (via PEOPLE<\/a>).<\/p>\n

According to the document, on April 25, 2023, Baldoni visited Reynolds and Lively\u2019s New York City penthouse. Reynolds \u201cunloaded\u201d on Baldoni, yelling \u201chow horrible it was\u201d for him to comment on a woman\u2019s weight and physicality. Reynolds claimed that Baldoni was allegedly \u201cfat-shaming Blake.\u201d In response, the 41-year-old actor was \u201ccompletely embarrassed and apologized and even shared some tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

The document listed that Lively\u2019s close friends Swift and Jackman \u201cwere also present in the apt at the time\u201d of the meeting.<\/p>\n

Previously, the Gossip Girl alum\u2019s legal team listed Swift and Jackman among her potential witnesses (via PEOPLE<\/a>). The Wolverine star showed up in Lively\u2019s support at the premiere of It Ends With Us on August 9, 2024. It is no secret that the \u201cOpalite\u201d crooner is close friends with Lively and Reynolds for a long time now.<\/p>\n

When Swift\u2019s name popped up in the ongoing legal battle, Baldoni\u2019s lawyers attempted to subpoena her in May. The global popstar has since distanced herself from the legal battle and the media trial surrounding it.<\/p>\n

Her representatives stated, \u201cTaylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, her representatives stated that Swift<\/a>\u2019s name was being used \u201cto draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.\u201d As of writing, neither Swift nor Jackman have publicly commented on the matter.<\/p>\n
