This Morning<\/a> star Alice Liveing has revealed she was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a life-threatening condition just weeks after giving birth to her daughter.<\/p>\n Sharing a photo of her hospital bed surrounded by medical equipment on Instagram, the 32-year-old health and wellbeing presenter revealed that it had only been five weeks since she gave birth when she realised something was wrong.<\/p>\n Opening up about her serious health scare to her 675,000 followers, Alice explained that she had noticed “post birth” bleeding and decided to make an appointment with her doctor.<\/p>\n In a post shared on her Instagram page, Alice wrote: “Not the news I wanted today but wanted to share in case it’s helpful or makes anyone else get theirs checked. I had some unusual post birth bleeding over the last week or so, and saw my GP who referred me for a scan.”<\/p>\n She added: “Turns out I have some ‘retained products’ and am now waiting for the plan of action to deal with this. “It’s these little things you often try and ‘write off’ as being normal post having a baby that it can be worth getting checked. “”.<\/p>\n Alice continued: “I’m sadly outside the 28 day window to receive triage care from the hospital hence needing to go down the GP route but I’m glad I did and will keep you posted with next steps for anyone else who might be experiencing similar.”<\/p>\n Despite including a disclaimer in the following post as she felt it was a lot of information, she proceeded to describe details of abnormal postpartum bleeding, hoping that it would raise awareness, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n In another post, she revealed: “Mine was mainly the colour of my bleeding. It was a bright bright red with large clots (Sorry TMI) from around 25 days post birth.”<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Alice was sharing posts of joy after announcing the safe arrival of her daughter Jeannie Isabella Murphy.<\/p>\n On November 9, she excitedly wrote: “Creeping back online to announce the arrival of… Jeannie Isabella Murphy. She burst into the world in the most unexpected way, I can’t wait to share more on this because it’s a wild story.”<\/p>\n She continued: “But she’s here, she’s healthy, she’s happy and safely earthside and that’s all we could ask for, It’s been a whirlwind two weeks, and I’ve taken the most time offline since I started posting 10 years ago to soak up every single second of this bubble we’re in.”<\/p>\n Her celebrity friends were quick to flood the comments section with well wishes for the new family of three. Reality TV<\/a> star Lucy Mecklenburgh commented: “Congratulations! She’s so perfect.”<\/p>\n Loose Women panellist Katie Piper expressed: “Huge congratulations.”<\/p>\n Love Island star Montana Brown wrote: “Congrats superwoman.
