Second time\u2019s the charm for the Ulster<\/a> Senior Club Football Championship semi-final between Scotstown and Newbridge<\/a> today.<\/p>\n

The two teams take to the field again after their match-up last week was called off at half-time due to the dangerous conditions caused by the weather.<\/p>\n

Scotstown were leading by four points at the break, with Matty Maguire netting an early goal for the Tydavnet outfit, with Derry<\/a> champions Newbridge struggling to get their game going in the 30 minutes of football played at Healy Park.<\/p>\n

Referee Joe McQuillan performed a test on the field at the break, bouncing a ball which skidded away instead of returning to the Cavan<\/a> man\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

Despite the Monaghan<\/a> champions\u2019 protests, the official called the game, and Scotstown were back to square one, much to the relief of Newbridge, who looked dazed and confused under the Omagh lights.<\/p>\n

After yesterday\u2019s Ulster Senior Hurling<\/a> final, the two sides will hope that the Athletic Grounds\u2019 pitch has held up against the elements, with early forecasts giving rain in the Cathedral City<\/a>.<\/p>\n
