The Food Safety Authority of Ireland <\/a>has issued a recall for a Christmas<\/a> chocolate sold at Aldi stores.<\/p>\n

The Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks, shaped like the popular Christmas<\/a> ornament, is being recalled due to an undeclared allergen. The chocolates<\/a> may contain peanuts.<\/p>\n

Peanuts are not declared on the list of ingredients. This makes the impacted batches unsafe for consumers with a peanut allergy or intolerance.<\/p>\n

Because of this, consumers with relevant allergies should not eat the implicated product. The affected product is being recalled from Aldi stores.<\/p>\n

Aldi<\/a> said: “As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling Dairyfine Salted Caramel Filled Gonks because it may contain peanuts. Customers are asked to return this product to their nearest store for a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”<\/p>\n

“Do not consume the product if you have an allergy or intolerance and return the product to your nearest store for a full refund.”<\/p>\n

All batches and best before dates are impacted. Aldi confirmed that all Aldi products go through rigorous safety and quality checks.<\/p>\n
