Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 son Olin<\/strong> is definitely, maybe a fan of one of his parents\u2019 most panned films.<\/p>\n

The Deadpool actor revealed that his and wife Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 2-year-old can\u2019t get enough of the couple\u2019s 2011 movie Green Lantern, which notoriously underperformed at the box office.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou laugh, but my son, it’s his favorite movie and he watches it every f–king day,\u201d Ryan said during a recent appearance at The Wall Street Journal’s CMO Council Summit<\/a>. \u201cDo you understand the work I’ve had to do to get to the place where I can just pass by that screen and not go, \u2018Well, we could have [done that differently]?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the potential to cringe at his past work, the Proposal actor\u2014also dad to daughters James<\/strong>, 10, Inez<\/strong>, 9, and Betty<\/strong>, 6, with Blake\u2014sees the DC Comics movie as an opportunity to reflect on how he has grown professionally. As he noted, \u201cThat was a time in my life when I was, \u2018Yes, sir. No, sir. How high can I jump, sir?\u2019”<\/p>\n

Plus, Ryan relishes the chance to teach his kids about life through what he calls his \u201cfailures.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cMy kids, all they see is a winner,\u201d he continued. \u201cWhen I go outside, I get pats in the back and it’s a selfie parade, and I oblige everyone pretty much. My kids only see that. So, I’ve learned lately to make sure [I am] talking about the failures and how that is literally the base and ingredient for everything else.\u201d<\/p>\n

But while Ryan is quick to let his kids in on the lessons he\u2019s learned from his public-facing career, he\u2019s also been vocal<\/a> about the superhero strength it takes to parent a son. <\/p>\n

“Three girls\u2014just so easy,” the 49-year-old explained during an October appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “And then the boy, who’s gotta break everything.”<\/p>\n

He added, “I’m, like, in direct competition with this young man.”<\/p>\n

In fact, Ryan joked that he and Blake \u201cwould never\u201d have had a fourth child if they had welcomed three boys first.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no way,\u201d he quipped. \u201cI would give myself a punching vasectomy. There’s no way I would allow that to happen.”<\/p>\n

Blake announced her pregnancy<\/a> on her lifestyle website Preserve, with the company sharing in a blog post: “Preserve at its core is about family. ‘Family’ is the single word our founder, Blake built this home on.”<\/p>\n
