Stacey Dooley’s flamboyant disco-inspired Christmas tree has sparked debate amongst her followers, with opinion split between those who adore the festive spectacle and others raising safety concerns given her young family.<\/p>\n

The documentary presenter, who lives with professional dancer Kevin Clifton<\/a> and their two year old daughter Minnie, unveiled this year’s decorations on Instagram. The footage revealed a towering tree adorned with silver tinsel, glitterballs, and sharp metallic stars.<\/p>\n

Explaining the concept, Stacey referenced her Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> triumph, where she first met Kevin in 2018 after being paired together for the competition they ultimately won.<\/p>\n

She captioned her post: “It’s giving.. Elstree. Guys, did I ever mention I did strictly 100 yrs ago? The theme was ‘camp disco’ and ofc @marymaryflorals delivered AGAIN. Isn’t it so Angel Delight energy? Made up! Ta so much girls!”.<\/p>\n

Numerous supporters praised the festive creation. One enthusiast commented: “It’s giving 90s but extra. I love it.”, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another declared: “It’s giving Diana Ross meets Wham on steroids and I’m here for it babe.”<\/p>\n

A third suggested the display “belongs in Vogue”.<\/p>\n

However, safety-conscious followers expressed apprehension. “Is it just me that is petrified of them spikes and defo wouldn’t have this in a house with toddlers,” one questioned.<\/p>\n

Another asked: “Is that a Christmas tree or a weapon of mass destruction? !” A third pondered whether the arrangement posed a “fire hazard”. Several fans were less than impressed with the tree’s aesthetics.<\/p>\n

“Sorry but the tree is hideous,” one commented, while another suggested it was an “acquired taste”.<\/p>\n

This year will mark the third Christmas celebration for Stacey and Kevin’s daughter, Minnie. Tragically, earlier this year, Stacey revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy.<\/p>\n

In an episode of her show, Stacey Dooley<\/a> Sleeps Over, which aired in September, the star opened up about the heartbreaking experience. “I have experienced what it is like to struggle to have a child,” she confessed.<\/p>\n

In conversation with Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, she further shared: “”We obviously wanted to expand our family, and last year I fell pregnant and it didn’t go brilliantly. It was ectopic.<\/p>\n

” She continued: “I am so sorry because this is so predictable. I am sat here, crying on a bed.<\/p>\n

It was ectopic, and it was really f***ing difficult. “.#<\/p>\n
