{"id":213372,"date":"2025-12-03T15:19:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T15:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/213372\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T15:19:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T15:19:14","slug":"us-lifts-china-sentiment-but-tensions-cloud-outlook-in-japan-morgan-stanley-report-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/213372\/","title":{"rendered":"US lifts China sentiment, but tensions cloud outlook in Japan, Morgan Stanley report says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Global business sentiment towards China improved in the third quarter of 2025, led by a sharp rebound among US companies, but growing concerns in Japan over tensions with Beijing over Taiwan are dragging on the overall outlook, according to a Morgan Stanley report.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The US investment bank\u2019s AlphaWise Global MNC China Sentiment Index rose three points to 31, placing sentiment in the \u201cslightly positive\u201d range and signalling a gradual recovery in confidence towards operating and expanding in China.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The quarterly survey, published on Tuesday, analysed earnings-call transcripts from 396 multinational firms using artificial intelligence, drawing on 1,241 qualified data points related to China.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Western companies were weighted more heavily as key drivers of global capital flows.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The improvement was driven mainly by US companies, whose sentiment jumped 18 points from the previous quarter \u2013 the biggest gain among all regions.
