Gwyneth Paltrow<\/strong> and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/strong>, who feature in the upcoming film Marty Supreme<\/strong>, shared a funny moment on set. Paltrow, known for her wellness advice, tried to help Chalamet with what she thought were skin issues, only to learn it was all makeup for his role.<\/p>\n

Gwyneth Paltrow didn\u2019t realize Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet had Marty Supreme makeup, gave advice<\/p>\n

Gwyneth Paltrow meant well, but her skincare advice ended up in the wrong place. While filming Marty Supreme, she noticed Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet\u2019s face looked different and thought he needed help improving his skin.<\/p>\n

But the problem wasn\u2019t real at all; it was just special-effects makeup. Speaking on The Run-Through with Vogue podcast<\/a>, Paltrow said, \u201cIn\u00a0Marty Supreme, Timoth\u00e9e has pockmarks, and they made his eyes beady with contacts and glasses. In real life, he has beautiful skin. He made a comment, and I was like, \u2018Oh, you can do micro-needling for that.\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018This is makeup.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Oh, s\u2014.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that the makeup looked so realistic she completely believed the scars were his. She said, \u201cThe makeup was so good that I thought he had little acne scars. Anyway, I think it would be interesting to one day do something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie, Paltrow plays Kay Stone a rich, aging movie star who forms an unexpected bond with Chalamet\u2019s young ping-pong prodigy. His physical transformation for the role inspired her, and she said she wants to take on more roles exploring how women age.<\/p>\n

The actress said, \u201cI think it would be really interesting to do something around a story of an older woman. I\u2019m really interested in how women age and how they regard themselves as they age. I look forward to playing older parts for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marty Supreme is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 25, 2025. The cast also includes Odessa A\u2019zion, Kevin O\u2019Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.<\/p>\n
