Ever since it was announced that Andrew and Sarah Ferguson<\/a>\u00a0were being evicted from their home of Royal Lodge people have been wondering where the former Duchess of York will end up. We already know Andrew<\/a> is set to move to his brother\u2019s estate in Sandringham, where his expenses will be covered by King Charles<\/a>. But what about Fergie?<\/p>\n

Recent reports indicated she could be moving in with one of her daughters. However, her spokesperson is setting the record straight about what\u2019s coming next for Ferguson, and it doesn\u2019t seem like it includes moving in with Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie. \u201cShe is assessing a number of options currently, and no final decision has been made,\u201d the spokesperson told People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cContrary to reports, she has never asked for a property or any provision for herself,\u201d a source told the outlet. \u201cShe will continue to forge an independent life.\u201d That same source said she \u201cis going to be moving out and into a separate home.\u201d\u00a0No details as to where she will be moving, or what the options are have been released.<\/p>\n

The possibilities that had been reportedly<\/a> included Beatrice<\/a> providing a renovated \u201ccattle shed\u201d on her Cotswolds estate as a \u201cgranny annexe\u201d and Fergie relocating to Portugal to live near Eugenie at her property in an area dubbed the \u201cHamptons of Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source had told the\u00a0Mail Online<\/a>, about the possibility of her moving with Beatrice, \u201cIt would be perfect for the former Duchess as it\u2019s close to her daughter but also completely independent of the main house where Beatrice and Eduardo live,\u201d adding, \u201cSarah would be able to just walk a few yards and be an on-site babysitter for Sienna whom she simply adores.\u201d<\/p>\n

Plus, the source also explained, \u201cWith Eugenie<\/a> living in Portugal, it makes perfect sense.\u201d However, it seems like we won\u2019t see any of these two options come to pass, despite the fact that right now, there don\u2019t seem to be all that many options. Or at least, Fergie isn\u2019t ready to disclose if this is indeed her decision yet.<\/p>\n

RadarOnline<\/a>\u00a0reported even before the decision to evict Andrew and Fergie from Royal Lodge that King Charles wanted them both removed. \u201cThe king feels deeply that Royal Lodge cannot remain a sanctuary for the Duke and Duchess of York. After everything that has come out, he wants them out. It\u2019s not just about optics anymore \u2013 it\u2019s about trying to preserve the integrity of the monarchy,\u201d one insider said at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe King\u2019s patience is at an end,\u201d another source added then. \u201cIf Sarah\u2019s income dries up and Andrew has no means of support, their hand may finally be forced. Charles is determined that Royal Lodge will not be their refuge forever,\u201d with reports indicating the King wasn\u2019t afraid to leave them \u201chomeless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe king took a risk by welcoming Sarah back into royal life, and now he feels let down. This whole episode has convinced the Palace that the Yorks can\u2019t stay at Royal Lodge.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the pair were, indeed, evicted from Royal Lodge and Andrew\u2019s titles stripped. Now, we\u2019ll have to see if these are the only consequences they face.<\/p>\n
