{"id":213966,"date":"2025-12-03T22:30:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T22:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/213966\/"},"modified":"2025-12-03T22:30:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T22:30:10","slug":"pikmin-bloom-has-topped-100-million-in-lifetime-player-spend-since-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/213966\/","title":{"rendered":"Pikmin Bloom has topped $100 million in lifetime player spend since launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pikmin Bloom has topped $100 million in lifetime player spend since it launched four years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The milestone \u2013 aggregated by combining sales on both the App Store and Google Play \u2013 comes via  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pocketgamer.biz\/pikmin-bloom-hits-100m-after-four-years-as-2025-becomes-its-best-year-yet\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PocketGamer<\/a> and data from <a href=\"https:\/\/appmagic.rocks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AppMagic<\/a>, which reports the mobile augmented reality game generated $8.4 million in its first year, which rocketed by 148% in 2023 to $20.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, this ballooned again to $33.4 million, seemingly spurred by the release of Pikmin 4 on Nintendo Switch in 2023, which saw monthly installs of the mobile game double.<\/p>\n<p>2025, however, has been the game&#8217;s strongest year to date, generating another $34.8 million before the year&#8217;s end.<\/p>\n<p>Savvy Games Group subsidiary Scopely revealed it officially closed its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesindustry.biz\/scopely-acquires-pokemon-go-developer-niantic-in-deal-worth-35bn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$3.5 billion acquisition of Niantic&#8217;s game business<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesindustry.biz\/scopely-officially-closes-35-billion-acquisition-of-niantics-games-business\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">earlier this year<\/a>, acquiring leading mobile games Pok\u00e9mon Go, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Pikmin Bloom has topped $100 million in lifetime player spend since it launched four years ago.
