During the\u00a0RHOBH\u00a0Season 15 premiere, Kyle faced comments about how\u00a0Mauricio’s single life<\/a>\u00a0escapades had been playing out very publicly, particularly on the multiple occasions when his\u00a0PDA paparazzi photos<\/a> have\u00a0popped up around the internet.<\/p>\n

“The first time I saw a photo of Mau, it was shocking; I was taken aback,” Kyle admitted to a producer. “But I’m a little desensitized now, unfortunately. Of course, he’s allowed to do what he wants, and I know he’s not doing that to hurt me. I just wish that he would be a little more discreet.”<\/p>\n

Even though she and Mauricio\u00a0announced their split<\/a>\u00a0after 27 years of marriage in October 2023, Kyle added on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show<\/a>,\u00a0“It feels strange to see the person that I was married to for so long with another woman, you know, in photos.”<\/p>\n

How Kyle Richards handles seeing Mauricio Umansky’s public romances<\/p>\n

In the interim, Kyle said that she seemed to find a coping mechanism of sorts.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know if it’s just me compartmentalizing or what it is. I’m not a psychologist,” Kyle also shared on the RHOBH After Show. “But in my mind, I’m like, I don’t even know that person, you know? That’s a different Mau. I don’t know. I don’t recognize when I see him like that.”<\/p>\n

Referencing how it was “also very weird” for her to see the similar covert photos\u00a0of\u00a0Paul “PK” Kemsley<\/a>\u00a0kissing another woman<\/a> that sparked Dorit Kemsley<\/a>‘s\u00a0divorce filing<\/a>, Kyle pointed out, “That’s the other thing: Like, who is this person that they’re with?”<\/p>\n

As for her own dating life<\/a>, Kyle revealed during a backyard get-together that she hosted for her castmates in\u00a0RHOBH’s Dec. 4 episode that she is single. And though she hadn’t “been leaving” her house a whole lot, the mom of four insisted that she’d nonetheless “been happy” on her own.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere during RHOBH’s Season 15 premiere, Kyle’s daughters,\u00a0Farrah<\/a>, 36, and Alexia<\/a>, 29, Sophia<\/a>, 25, and Portia<\/a>, 17, gathered at her home, and, yes, their dad’s public romances was a topic of conversation for them, too.<\/p>\n

“The last time there were paparazzi photos of him with some girl at the valet, I texted him, and I was like, ‘You’re doing the absolute most. You can tone it down,'” Sophia recalled. “He’s like, ‘I thought we were private.’ At the valet? You thought you were private at the valet?”<\/p>\n

When Kyle asked the girls if anyone actually brought up the photos to them, Portia bluntly responded, “I’ll say to my friends, I’ll be like, ‘My dad’s being a hoe.'”<\/p>\n

That led Kyle to wonder if their youngest daughter was trying to get ahead of any inevitable chatter.<\/p>\n

“When, like, everything first went down, I was very closed off about it,” Portia continued. “I was, like, pretending like it didn’t happen, if that makes sense. But, after talking to my therapist, I’ve learned to talk about the hard things, which was, like, impossible for me before. And so, like, now I just show them that I’m like, ‘Whatever.’ … I’ll say anything to Dad, honestly.”<\/p>\n

After noting that she was “very impressed” by Portia, Kyle quipped in a producer interview, “They all have something to say, and they all have very strong opinions. And they’re all alpha females.”<\/p>\n
