Next week on Coronation Street, a special flashback episode<\/a> reveals secrets from Maggie’s past and hints at future danger for Eva. Meanwhile, the net is closing in on Becky<\/a> as Kit makes a breakthrough in his investigation, and it could be the end of Swarla when Lisa calls time on their relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1. Maggie’s true colours are revealed\"maggie<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

The week kicks off with Maggie’s birthday, and a special flashback episode where we get a glimpse into the character’s intriguing backstory.<\/p>\n

As tensions flare in The Rovers, viewers will learn more about Maggie’s earlier life.<\/p>\n

Shocking secrets are revealed, which suggest that Eva may need to watch her back with Maggie around\u2026<\/p>\n

2. Kit voices his suspicions\"kit<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Kit continues digging for information on Costello’s attack as he goes to visit him in hospital.<\/p>\n

He learns that his boss was planning to retire to the Lakes in September and Kit tells Lisa and Becky it’s strange that Costello never mentioned it.<\/p>\n

Kit sees the look on Becky’s face and later confides in Carla that he suspects Costello and Becky are involved in something together.<\/p>\n

3. Becky corners Carla\"carla<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

A despondent Carla pours herself a drink as she tells Kit they’ve got no proof of anything.<\/p>\n

Leaving the factory, Kit tells Becky that Carla is inside knocking back the scotch and says Lisa should go and check on her. <\/p>\n

Becky promises to pass on the message, but secretly enters Carla’s office<\/a>, closing the door behind her.<\/p>\n

4. Kit makes a discovery\"kit<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Costello’s wife calls at the station to collect his belongings and shows Kit a photo of the house they bought in Coniston.<\/p>\n

Kit makes a mental note of its name ‘Ravensgill’ and discovers that it was purchased by a company that was set up the week after Becky supposedly died.<\/p>\n

5. Lisa tells Carla they’re over\"lisa<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Later in the week, Carla returns to Number 6, telling Lisa she’s home and should never have left.<\/p>\n

Carla insists that she never stopped loving Lisa, but while Lisa admits she loves her too, she also tells Carla that it’s too late for them.<\/p>\n

Are Swarla finished for good?<\/p>\n

6. Lauren is onto Will and Megan\"lauren<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Eva forces Will to say sorry to Lauren for trying to kiss her. She accepts his apology and insists that it’s all in the past.<\/p>\n

Later, Will has a rendezvous with Megan in the precinct, where he pleads for her forgiveness.<\/p>\n

But the pair are being watched by Lauren<\/a>, who suspects there’s more to their relationship than meets the eye.<\/p>\n

7. Abi and Carl save the day\"carl<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Debbie discovers that she’s accidentally booked a wedding venue for 2027 and fears her dementia will be too advanced by then.<\/p>\n

Carl and Abi promise to help and are able to snap up a last-minute cancellation at Monkton Hall.<\/p>\n

It seems Debbie and Ronnie will be getting hitched in three weeks!<\/p>\n

8. Kevin refuses to attend Debbie’s wedding\"kevin<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Debbie announces that she wants to invite Carl and Abi to the wedding, but Ronnie reckons she’s making a mistake.<\/p>\n

He points out there’s no way Kevin will come if they’re both there and urges Debbie to reconsider.<\/p>\n

As predicted, Kevin is furious<\/a> when he hears about Debbie’s plan and tells her to shove her invitation.<\/p>\n

9. David humiliates Shona\"david<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

David gets a shock when he returns home to find Shona is throwing a baby shower.<\/p>\n

Unable to hide his discomfort, David tells Shona<\/a> they shouldn’t be having a party given their baby’s diagnosis.<\/p>\n

As their guests look on in embarrassment, Shona feels awful.<\/p>\n

10. Sally and Tim have a festive surprise for Joanie\"tim<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Sally and Tim pull out all the stops as they lay on a Christmas party buffet for Joanie and her pals.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, Sally promises the girls that she’ll arrange for them to see Lou on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n

Joanie and Shanice are thrilled, but Tim fears<\/a> they’re setting them up for disappointment if the prison won’t allow visitors.<\/p>\n

11. Christina and George fear for Todd\"christina,<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Christina’s romance with George continues to blossom, but she can tell he’s missing Todd at work.<\/p>\n

She urges her partner to try and patch things up, but will he swallow his pride?<\/p>\n

Later, the couple are given cause for concern when Gary reveals<\/a> he heard a crash coming from Todd and Theo’s flat.<\/p>\n

12. Carl is in the clear\"carl<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Tyrone is frustrated that the police are still no further in finding out who ran him over.<\/p>\n

He offloads on Carl, who plays the role of supportive mate, while masking his relief that his secret is still safe.<\/p>\n

But for how long?<\/p>\n
