The movie opens on April 10, 2026. The trailer dropped two days ago. <\/p>\n<p>In its first day, the trailer\u2019s viewership spanned a wide range of platforms including: TikTok (33M), Facebook (12M), Instagram (10M), YouTube (6M), X\/Twitter (3M), Pinterest (2M), and Reddit (1M).\u00a0<br \/>The trailer also delivered one of Searchlight\u2019s strongest organic openings ever, ranking #3 among the studio\u2019s trailer launches.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Early fan response has been strong across\u00a0social platforms, where both the poster and trailer have fueled enthusiasm for the sequel to the cult-favorite original. Excitement around the cast is particularly high, with fans celebrating the trio of Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, and Sarah Michelle Gellar \u2014 one user praising the film for bringing together \u201cthree of the coolest blonde final girls in horror.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The film marks the return of directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin &amp; Tyler Gillett, with a script by Guy Busick &amp; R.
