\u201cThe Bachelor\u201d runner up Madi Prewett found a husband and is happy to let him take the lead.<\/p>\n
On her \u201cStay True\u201d podcast, Prewett, the runner up on season 24, shared her thoughts while speaking with her husband, Grant Troutt, and guest Bryce Crawford, who recently became engaged to Maddy Dodd.<\/p>\n
Prewett said it was a \u201cchallenge\u201d at first to be a \u201csubmissive wife,\u201d but she\u2019s really come around to the idea.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, it\u2019s, like, my favorite thing. I love talking about submission,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Prewett, who competed for the heart of airline pilot Peter Weber on \u201cThe Bachelor\u201d in 2020, has spoken about the concept of being submissive in her marriage before.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a wife, I\u2019m called to submit, I\u2019m called to respect, I\u2019m called to honor,\u201d she said during a 2024 episode of her podcast.<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cI’m called to love, I\u2019m called to be committed and to keep our marriage bed pure, and to make him, other than God, my greatest priority.\u201d<\/p>\n
Prewett married Troutt in 2022 after a three-month engagement. They welcomed a daughter, Hosanna, in January this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had a three-month engagement. The world thought we were crazy. Maybe we were a little bit, but also we were just so excited to get married,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
For soon to be wed couples, Prewett advised, \u201cFight to unite and not to be right. That was one of the hardest things for me when we first got married.”<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cI just wanted to be right all the time, and it was my way or the highway. I learned a lot through prayer and humbling myself before God.
